Successful Schools Table Tennis Tournament held in Ballymoney

Last week a successful Table tennis tournament organised by Regional Development Officer Frank Shirley and helped on the day by Schools Secretary Norman McBride  was held in Our Lady of Lourdes Ballymoney.

32 competitors from four secondary schools, Our Lady Of Lourdes, Ballymoney High, Ballycastle High and Dalriada,  took part.

Thanks also to teachers, Jeremy Mitchell and the year 12 girls from Ballycastle High  who umpired.

Dalriada emerged victorious on the day with Darsh Girisankar beating Andrew Burns in the final of the main event. In the consolation event Coin Barnsley , Ballycastle High beat Lucas Henry.

Best Girl at the event went to Catherine Kane Ballycastle High .

Some of the Pupils have since been invited to take part in the secondary Schools Individual tournament in Lisburn on 17th April
