Stephen Lomas joins Causeway Chronicle team

Great news for readers ahead of the new season.

Causeway Chronicle is delighted to say that Stephen Lomas is joining the team.

The former Northern Ireland International  will be giving us his expert views on Coleraine FC as the campaign progresses.

Stephen started his career with the Bannsiders before moving to Maine Road where he played 111 times for Manchester City.

He was then transferred to West Ham United in 1997 and represented the Hammers 187 times.

Stephen, capped 45 times by Northern Ireland between 1994 and 2003, ended his career with stints at Queens Park Rangers and Gillingham.

He then went into management, enjoying a successful spell with St. Johnstone before taking over at Millwall.

Now back living on the North Coast, he will be a frequent visitor to the Showgrounds.

And Causeway Chronicle is thrilled to have his input in the coming months.
