Roe Valley Enterprises Ltd considering expansion

Roe Valley Enterprises Ltd is considering expanding by purchasing a vacant property at 86 Main Street, Limavady.

This property, previously an asset of the Department of Finance, is now available and requires a letter of support from the Council for Roe Valley Enterprises to formally submit their interest. No funding is being requested from the Council.

The Corporate Policy and Resources Committee has recommended that the Council support the acquisition.

Alderman Coyle stated that he wished to propose the recommendation but expressed disappointment that the facility is not centralised at Aghanloo.

Proposed by Alderman Coyle

Seconded by Councillor Mairs

Roe Valley Enterprises is one of two enterprise agencies in the Borough. The company is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status, which works for the benefit of the local community by supporting small businesses and community enterprises and playing an active part in business development at local, regional and national levels.
