Robert launches book – A Boy from the Heights – out November 18

Well-known Coleraine man Robert Ramsey, MBE, has penned a book entitled “A boy from the Heights” which will be launched at the Montra Club on Saturday, November 18 at 4.00 p.m.

Robert, a former postman and no stranger on the Pantomime circuit with various guises under his belt, is also an excellent stand-up comedian with a repertoire which would stand up in any company.

Dotted with factual memories growing up in the Heights are of the town and told with the humour one would expect from Robert it promises to be a book well worth adding to any local collection.

Writen with passion and enthusiam by Robert, originally in longhand, his book takes us inside the mind of the man himself, as he tells us about his youth and family, his Post Office career, the honour of receiving an MBE from the Queen, and of course, his passion for pantomime, entertainment and so much more.

THE BOOK WILL BE ON SALE AT THE MONTRA CLUB AND SPAR SHOP, LAUREL HILL ROAD, COLERAINE.

A FURTHER LAUNCH WILL TAKE PLACE IN CASTLEROCK COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION CENTRE, CIRCULAR ROAD, CASTLEROCK ON MONDAY, 20th NOVEMBER AT 1.00pm

£2.00 OF EACH BOOK PURCHASED WILL BE DONATED TO CANCER RESEARCH
