Reading and Northern Ireland International Lauren Wade presents awards to Coleraine FC Girls

Reading and Northern Ireland International Lauren Wade was the special Guest at Coleraine FC Girls Awards in the Lodge Hotel on Saturday afternoon.

Lauren, with over 50 international caps to her credit, scored the winning goal for Northern Ireland on the night she earned her 50th cap.

Described compere and organiser Gary Scott as a real inspiration for girls coming through the club’s pathway that the potential is there with dedication and hard work to play in England and also for Northern Ireland.

No doubt many of the girls present will look up to Lauren as a perfect example of what can be achieved with hard work, determination and dedication – as an often used quote from the late Harry Gregg that children should “Dare to Dream”, Lauren is a perfect role model for the girls to look up to and aspire to follow.
