Portstewart Youths look back on successful year of development and growth

Portstewart Youths held their second Presentation evening in the Lodge Hotel last weekend where the 2009s through to the 2015s received recognition for a very successful season of hard work and dedication.

Conor McDermot, Coleraine Football Club’s “Mr. Consistency”, and one of the star’s during last season, was the Guest of Honour and presented the awards to the youth teams as they were presented in age groups to the parents and supporters.

The 2016/15 team who played up a year at 2014 level in the Harry Gregg Youth League are now in preparations for this year’s Foyle Cup.

Once again, all the coaches in charge of the various age groups weer full of praise for the hard-working Club Committee and the dedication and help received from the parents through the course of the season.

All in all, it has been a good season for Portstewart Football Club Academy with steady progress on and off the field and fantastic progress for the young players coming through the club ranks for the future.

And Finally . . . the paparazzi!

As normal, proud mummies, daddies, aunts and uncles all want to capture their children receiving their awards. I thought it would be nice to capture the paparazzi in action at Poetstewart Youth Football Club’s second awards night in the Lodge Hotel last weekend.
