O’Hara puts pen to paper

Up-and coming young Coleraine striker Ciaran O’Hara has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with Coleraine Football Club.

Ciaran has impressed with his goal-scoring prowess for the senior team and is one to watch in the future.

Coleraine Football Club have released the following statement: Coleraine Football Club are pleased to announce that Ciaran O’Hara has penned his  first professional contract with the club…

The striker has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal after being promoted
to the first-team squad during the 2023/24 campaign.

Ciaran has been impressing for the club’s Under-20’s and scored on his  Premiership start against Loughgall before netting against Dungannon  Swifts seven days later.

The Limavady native has also previously been capped at youth level by
Northern Ireland.

Bannsiders’ boss Oran Kearney said: “I think like a lot  of the young ones coming through at the minute – and we have a cracking cohort – Ciaran is a little bit older and he’s always been scoring
different types of goals for the Under-20’s.

“He has all the different attributes that you’d want to see in a  young striker. He’s by no means the finished article, he knows that himself and the hard work starts now. It’s testament to him and the hard work down below us in the club that  we keep having a strong cohort of young players getting a chance.”
