McNabb one second ahead of Burns at Limepark

Garvagh Forest, event 110 – Seventeen completed the course. Jason Wilson, of Ballymena Runners, was fastest finisher for the fourth time in five visits, clocking in at 18:21. Nuala McAuley, on her first visit, was the fastest female, with a time of 26:34.

Limavady, event 371 – 48 completed the course. For the third time in October, the fastest male and female duo were Springwell’s Chris Denton and Ciara McSherry. He ran a time of 17:39. She finished in 19:47. Martin O’Doherty, from the same running club, was sandwiched in between, with a 19:30 effort.

Limepark Playing Fields, event sixty – Thirty-three completed the soggy course. George Dougherty joined the 25 Club.  In a ‘photo-finish’ in this non-race, Springwell’s Jonathan McNabb finished with a time of 21:46, a mere one second   ahead of Tommy Burns. Shannon McCloskey (23:37 PB) was fastest female for the second time, completing her first parkrun since early February.

Portrush, event 522 – 166 completed the course. Jonathan Workman recorded his two hundredth parkrun and Springwell’s Grainne Moore made it to 150. Andy Whiteford, from the same club as Grainne, was Portrush fastest finisher at the thirty-second time of asking, clocking 19:27. Brighton’s Jessica Stribbling (22:11), visiting for the first time, was the fastest female.
