Manor Thistle, winners of the Ballyrashane £1,000 Summer Cup

Manor Thistle were 6-2 winner of this year’s Ballyrashane Summer Cup, played at Mullaghacall, Portstewart.

This year’s chosen charity in Search and Rescue who will receive all monies lifted from the competition.

The game itself was highly entertaining despite several key players missing through club pre-season friendlies. None-the-less, these two teams maintained their entertainment with eight goals in the fina, with Manor deservedly running out 6-2 winners.

The presentation was held in the Portsteweart Clubrooms after the game.

Tournament organiser Tommy Doherty thanked Portstewart Football Club for the use of their facilities and both teams for a highly entertaining game.

Man of the match was Kenny Kane, Manor Thistle and the awards were handed out by Daniel Acheson, one of the Cup sponsors.
