Julie joins 25 club at Garvagh Forest

Garvagh Forest, event 107 – 38 completed the course. – Julie Hudson joined the 25 Club.

Although not to be held up as a ‘race’, this event nevertheless produced a photo finish between two visitors from Willowfield Harriers. Simon Reeve (19:51) just held off Harry Miller (19:52) to earn himself the accolade of fastest finisher.

Springwell’s Bernadette O’Kane (21:43) was the fastest female finisher for the 22nd time.

Limavady, event 368 – Fifty-three completed the course.

The fastest male and female were both Springwell runners. Chris Denton (17:55) and Ciara McSherry (20:02) have 195 first finishes at Limavady between them. Sandwiched between this dynamic duo was Thomas Doherty who earned himself an 18:29 course PB.

Limepark Playing Fields, event fifty-seven – 28 completed the course. Neil McGarry (21:43) was the fastest finisher here at the seventh time of asking.

Jill Hutchinson (26:49) was the fastest female for the second time from eleven efforts at Armoy.

Portrush, event 519 – 170 completed the course. Springwell’s Amanda Scott joined the 100 Club, while Jude Moore recorded his 150th parkrun. Sharon Kennedy completed her three hundredth parkrun, with 277 at this beach.

Jason Wilson of Ballymena Runners (19:03) was the fastest finisher for the fiftieth time. He promptly ‘cooled down’ by running up and down the beach again. Josh Martin (19:53) was the only other finisher to post a sub-twenty effort.

Leanne Sands (22:55 course PB) representing the Acorns AC, was the fastest female for the first time from two Portrush visits.
