Jim Blee joins 250 club at Portrush event

Garvagh Forest, event 111 – 21 completed the course. Springwell’s Bernadette O’Kane was the fastest finisher and also the fastest female for the 23rd time, clocking in at 21:34. Paul Laverty, from the same running club, was the fastest male for the first time at Garvagh, with a time of 23:31.

Limavady, event 372 – 37 completed the course. Kevin McLean recorded his 150th parkrun. It was a case of deja-vu, as the fastest male and female duo for the fourth time in five weeks were Springwell’s Chris Denton and Ciara McSherry. Chris ran a time of 17:36. Ciara finished in 20:02. There were also sub-twenty efforts from James McCann (19:35) and Peter Tees (18:21).

Limepark Playing Fields, event 61 – Fifty-three completed the course. Jonathan McNabb joined the 50 Club. Siobhan McCaughan joined the 25 Club. Stephen Fraser (19:29) was the fastest finisher, on his first visit to Armoy. Young Marie Laverty (24:35) was fastest female for the second time from only two parkrun outings.

Portrush, event 523 – 241 completed the course. Riada’s Jim Blee joined the 250 Club. Daniel McIlroy and Michael Topping joined the 50 Club. Young Logan Andrews joined the 25 Club. Foyle’s Scott Rankin (17:31) was the fastest finisher, maintaining his remarkable unbeaten record on the beach. Springwell’s Fiona Prue (22:31) was fastest female for the second time.
