Friends and Spirit of 74 play key role in reunion

A huge ‘well done’ to the Friends of Coleraine and Spirit of 74 Supporters Club.

The two groups have been instrumental in organising and sponsoring this Saturday’s anniversary reunion.

An incredible amount of work has been carried out behind the scenes to ensure that title winning team of 50 years ago gets the recognition they deserve.

“There’s no way this date was going to pass without us acknowledging it,” said Chris Gray.

Flights have been organised, hotel rooms booked and a function suite at the Bushtown Hotel secured for a meal after the game with Crusaders.

Without the input of these two loyal groups, it could well have been an impossible task.

Club ambassador Frankie Moffatt has also worked tirelessly contacting all the players.

Having spoken to several of that ’74 team, I know how much they are looking forward to coming together once again.

And they are very thankful of the efforts of those who have put this all together.

Well done guys!
