Fra McMullan joins the 100 Club

Garvagh Forest, event 116 – Forty-three completed the course. Thomas Doherty (20:53) was the fastest finisher here for the tenth time from nineteen attempts. Young Caoimhe O’Kane (26:45) was the fastest female on her Garvagh debut.

Limavady, event 376 – 27 completed the course. Coleraine’s Chris Denton (17:37) was the fastest finisher here for the 145th time from 175 visits. Stephen Fillis (18:38), also representing Springwell, was the only other sub-twenty finisher. Amy Hall (22:16) was the fastest female on her Limavady debut.

Limepark Playing Fields, event 66 – 24 completed the course. Aileen McIlroy joined the 25 Club. Ballycastle’s Alister Jamison (19:57) was the fastest finisher here for the twelfth time from fourteen attempts. Christine Laverty (24:18 PB) was the fastest female for the first time from only two visits.

Portrush, event 528 – 105 completed the course. Fra McMullan joined the 100 Club. Nigel McCurdy and Ballycastle’s Paul Quinn joined the 25 Club. David Doey recorded his 150th parkrun. Neil Johnston of Annadale Striders maintained his jaw-dropping record of a sub-seventeen minute finish at each visit here, with an unsurpassable effort of 16:30. Timothy O’Neill (19:24 course PB) was the only other sub-twenty minute finisher. Fastest female for the 29th time was Laura Watters, a Midweek Muppet, who finished in a time of 22:34.
