Fiona Prue records a personal best at Garvagh

Garvagh Forest, event 122 – 35 completed the course. Thomas Donaghy joined the 25 Club. Springwell’s Fiona Prue (21:03 course PB) struck a blow for the female species by finishing ahead of everyone. This was not the first time that she was fastest female, but it was the first time that she was fastest for both genders. Antrim’s Nat Small (22:01 course PB) was the fastest male.

Limavady, event 382 – Forty completed the course. The fastest male and female were both Springwell runners. Martin O’Doherty (19:45) was the only finisher to break twenty minutes.  Ciara McSherry (20:43) was the fastest female for the 64th time.

Limepark Playing Fields, event 71 – Fifty-two completed the course. Josh Martin joined the 50 Club with an impressive 19:02 time. However, his effort was surpassed by Ballycastle’s Alister Jamison (18:52) who earned himself the fastest finisher bragging right for the fourteenth time at Armoy. Samantha Doey (22:51) was fastest female for the fourth time.

Portrush, event 536 – 179 completed the course. Jonathan McCaughan joined the 50 Club. Chris Stinson joined the 25 Club. Stephen McWilliams recorded his 350th parkrun, and Iris Wilson made it to 150. Springwell’s David O’Neill (20:16) was the fastest finisher for the fifteenth time. Laura Watters (23:12) was the fastest female for the 32nd time.
