Evens at the Showgrounds

Coleraine started this Cup tie without new signing Jamie McGonigle whose international clearance wasn’t through in time for tonight’s clash with Cliftonville.

However, fans got a chance to view Rory Brown and Jack Scott make their debuts and both looked impressive on their first official outing for the Bannsiders.

In an evenly balanced first half, both teams have created a few half-chances but no cast iron attempts on goal as yet. A much improved showing from the Bannsiders who matched Cliftonville in the first 45 minutes.

This tie is still up for grabs as the teams come out for the second half.
