ee Lan Magill joins the 250 Club at Garvagh Parkrun

Garvagh Forest, event 109 – 38 completed the course. The visiting Yee Lan Magill joined the 250 Club. Thomas Doherty (19:55) was fastest finisher for the ninth time in eighteen visits. He’s never been outside of the top five fastest finishers here. Clare Mullan (23:49) knocked nine minutes off her previous effort here to become fastest female at only the second time of asking.

Limavady, event 370 – Forty-six completed the course. Springwell’s John Butcher recorded his 150th parkrun. James Downey (18:28) was the fastest finisher on his first visit. There were two other sub-20 times achieved by the consistent Martin O’Doherty and by Ryan Kennedy. The fastest female for the first time was Laura-Ann Carmichael (24:31 course PB).

Limepark Playing Fields, event fifty-nine – 31 completed the course. James McCann (20:49) was the fastest finisher for the second time from three outings here. Young Marie Laverty (23:55) was the fastest female on her parkrun debut!

Portrush, event 521 – 134 completed the course. The visiting Simeon Cathcart joined the 100 Club. Richard Kelly recorded his two hundredth parkrun. Young Daniel Thompson became the fourth member of his family to reach three hundred run credits. The invincible Scott Rankin (17:23) was the fastest finisher for the twentieth time from twenty attempts. Springwell’s Andy Whiteford was the only other participant to break twenty minutes. In a repeat of September the 23rd, Grainne Rankin made it a Rankin and Foyle AC double whammy, with a 21:50 fastest female accomplishment.
