David Spence records Parkrun 200 at Portrush event

Garvagh Forest, event 117 – 31 completed the course. Belfast veteran Brendan Mulgrew (20:06) was the fastest finisher on his first visit here. Samantha Doey (22:23) was the fastest female for the fourth time at Garvagh.

Limavady, event 377 – Thirty completed the course. Jim Platt became the latest parkrun centurion, with twenty of his outings at Limavady. Springwell’s Chris Denton (17:44) was the fastest finisher here for the 146th time from 176 efforts. Peter Tees (18:31) and James McCann (19:35) also broke twenty minutes. Another Springwell runner, Ciara McSherry (21:12) was the fastest female for the 61st time at this venue.

Limepark Playing Fields, event 67 – 36 completed the course. Ballycastle’s Mark Gardiner (19:41) was the fastest finisher here for the second time from sixteen consistent attempts. Orlagh Laverty (25:18) was the fastest female on her parkrun debut.

Portrush, event 529 – 109 completed the course. Visitor Chris Spain joined the 100 Club, while Claire Vaux, a Midweek Muppet, did likewise. Another visitor, Sinead Carson, joined the 50 Club. David Spence recorded his two hundredth parkrun. Josh Martin (20:37) was the fastest finisher for the sixth time this year. Fastest female for the thirtieth time and the second week in succession was Laura Watters, another Midweek Muppet, who finished in a time of 24:25.
