Organised by Killowen Purple Heroes LOL 930, the commemoration was attended by the local lodges and lodges and bandsmen from Benvarden, Bushmills and Drumaheglis swelling the ranks.

The Service of remembrance was led by Wor. Bro. Rev. Joseph Andrews and the Ode to the Fallen was recited by Bro. Robert McIlreavey, LOL 930.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

We will remember them
