Balmer Cup 2024 kicks-off on Tuesday evening, June 18

The draw for this year’s James Balmer Memorial Cup took place in Mary Pats, Macosquin this evening when the first round draw was carried out by Robert Todd, Barry White, one of the founder members of the Balmer Cup in 1968 and Robert Downs, one of the competition organisers.

The opening game will be between Tullans and Bushmills on Tuesday, June 18, kick-off 7.00 p.m.

The full draw is:

Tullans v Bushmills – Tuesday, June 18

Upperlands Select v Burnfoot, – Thursday, June 20

Macosquin v Garvagh, – Tuesday, June 25

Dunaghy v Tavern Select, – Thursday, June 27

The semi-final draw and dates will be made after the completion of the first round. All gate receipts collected during the competition go towards charity.

St. Mary’s Parish Church, Macosquin, one of the oldest churches in Ireland at slightly over 400 year’s old, was the historic setting for the launch of this season’s James Balmer Memorial Cup, one of the longest running summer cup competitions in the North-West and North-Antrim areas.
