From the archives: four very well-know Coleraine men “Duchy” Clyde, Bertie Peacock Sammy Biggart and Bobby Anderson. Bertie of course managed Coleraine FC as well as staring for Northern Ireland and Celtic; Sammy was an all-Ireland Amateur Boxing Champion; Bobby was a well-know artist and banner painter – pictured making a presentation “Duchy Clyde” in Peacock’s Bar which used to be on the corner of Chapel Square and the Long Commons.
